Lisa Kaufman, MSRS, CMC, CTRS
Lisa is a Fellow/Certified Professional Aging Life Care™ Manager, and has worked specifically with the specialized allied health needs of the older adult since 1993. She has owned and operated SeniorCare Options since 2001, and she is an active member of the Aging Life Care Association™, and is one of only a handful of certified care managers in Georgia. In addition to her degrees and national certifications in her fields, Lisa’s credentials include a Certificate of Gerontology from Kennesaw State University, and she is a Certified Trainer and Consultant of Teepa Snow’s “Positive Approach to Care.” She is a Past-President of the ALCA™ South Eastern Chapter, a member of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association, and is the only Fellow / Certified ALCP™ in Georgia.
Lisa is a second generation professional Aging Life Care™ Manager, as her mother also had a successful practice in the Chicago area. Additionally, she understands the role of the caregiver firsthand, having been caregiver to her elderly grandmother during the end stages of her life. With her combination of practical and clinical experience, Lisa is uniquely qualified to assist families in caring for their aging loved ones.
In addition to championing for the elderly, Lisa enjoys reading, cooking, and creating visual art. She lives with her two spirited cats and they keep her very entertained.
Clare Salkin, RN, CMC
Clare (with SCO since 2009) is a registered nurse and certified care manager. After college and graduate school (BAs in Biology and Psychology, and MA in Biology), she held positions in a variety of research and scientific settings. Wanting to make more of a direct impact to patients themselves, she then went back to nursing school and has since held positions in assisted living, women’s health and home health with a special interest in patient education, medical advocacy and individualized care.
Clare has been an asset to SeniorCare Options since 2009. Her skills as an RN allow SCO to offer an interdisciplinary focus for our clients.

Dawn Giles, RN
Dawn (with SCO since September 2016) is a Registered Nurse with behavioral health and emergency/trauma background. She has done extensive work with psychiatric emergencies and geriatric mental health. She’s just relocated back to Georgia to be closer to family. Dawn lived in Atlanta previously for 27 years before relocating to the Kaiser Permanente network in California as an internal consultant.
Susan Keenan, LPC, NCC, CMC
Susan (with SCO since 2009) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she is Nationally Certified. She specializes in family and individual counseling, and has vast experience in case management. She has a detailed and gentle approach with the aging population, and with their families. She puts people at ease, and asks just the right questions to gain more insight, and to find the best solutions for the person and situation.
Abbie Vogt, MS, CMC
Abbie (joined SCO in February 2016) after relocating to Athens, Georgia from Dallas, Texas. She is an Advanced Professional Member of Aging Life Care™ Association and is Care Manager Certified through the Aging Life Care Association™. She holds a masters in ‘Long-Term Care, Senior Housing and Aging Services’ and has been an Aging Life Care™ manager since 2013.
Abbie began her career working as a caregiver for the aged and disabled at 17. Since then, her professional experience in the field of aging services has placed her in numerous settings, including hospice, assisted living, dementia care and home care administration. She has also had the opportunity to participate in various vocational exchanges abroad: Jalisco, Mexico through a graduate program in 2009 and various locations throughout Brazil sponsored by Rotary International in 2013. Abbie’s passion is to ensure high quality care coordination for her clients and their families by encouraging autonomy and promoting dignity while advocating for her clients’ individual needs. Her various skills and past experience give her a holistic and hands-on understanding of what options and processes are needed to encourage optimal aging and collaboration among her client’s care team.
In her free time, Abbie enjoys gardening, cooking and quality time spent with her dogs and husband. She admires art and music and participates in various community activities.
Pam Banaszek, BSW, MS, CCM, CDMS, CEAS
Pam ( joined SCO in February 2017) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Auburn University, and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University. She is a registered Catastrophic Case Manager; a Certified Case Manager; a Certified Disability Management Specialist; and a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. She has over 25 years working in the medical social work and case management field, with extensive experience in the case management of individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders and catastrophic injuries.
Pam has first hand experience in caring for someone with cognitive impairments, as her mother is a brain tumor survivor that has permanent cognitive impairments following surgery. This experience has given Pam an insight into geriatric case management and aging life care management that you only get from living it.
In her spare time, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their pets: three horses, three rescue dogs, and a very spoiled rescue cat.
